I have so many things I want to learn but it took me some time to find out how. The regularity is the key at least that’s what I believe.
When you read a book, manual or watch a video course for two days and next few months you will do nothing that’s really bad. What happens is that you will usually forget very quickly what have you learned and all time is wasted.
The completely different case is a continuous studying. For example, I am reading one chapter of “Red Hat System Administrator guide” twice a week. I am also doing one Python Kata from Codewars webpage once a week and so on.
I do not spend huge chunks of time by learning. I am learning continuously. When I read a book on Amazon Kindle, I usually highlight a lot and once a month I go through all highlights in books and read them.
This is what works best for me.
